CAMARILLO : 2 Men Arrested in Rape of Girl, 14

Two 22-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of raping a 14-year-old girl in Camarillo, authorities said Wednesday.

Andrew Madec and David Sirott, both of Camarillo, were being held in Ventura County Jail on Wednesday evening in lieu of $20,000 bail each, authorities said.

Madec was arrested on suspicion of rape, oral copulation, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer. Sirott was arrested on suspicion of rape and oral copulation. They are scheduled to enter pleas on Friday.

The 14-year-old girl and a friend, also 14, went to a party in Camarillo on Tuesday evening and left with Sirott and Madec, Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. John Fitzgerald said. They drove to Madec’s home, and sometime after midnight, the two men began undressing the girl, who was unconscious, Fitzgerald said.

Authorities said they did not know why the girl was unconscious.

The girl’s friend told the men to stop and “tried to take her girlfriend from the home,” Fitzgerald said. “The two males wouldn’t let her and told her to leave.”

The friend then walked to a public phone, where she called 911.

A deputy who forced his way into the home found the girl unconscious and naked on the couch, Fitzgerald said.

Authorities said there was evidence of sexual activity. The girl was taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where she was examined and released to her mother.
