A La Verne woman accused of running a $100,000-a-month escort service from her house was arraigned Thursday and sentenced to three months in jail for violating the terms of her parole.

Ginger Lee Porter, 28, was arrested July 11 on six counts of pandering and pimping by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies, who conducted a 10-week investigation after being tipped off by some of her customers, Sgt. Ron Spears said.

Porter had allegedly been running the Diamonds and Lace escort service since December, earning up to $100,000 a month by providing escorts to customers in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Her probation for a drunk driving conviction was revoked Thursday by Municipal Judge Jack Hunt, who scheduled an Aug. 1 hearing in the prostitution trial.
