nothingelse: ABC’s canceled “thirtysomething” series is dead despite reports it would be resurrected next season as a two-hour movie, said star Ken Olin. Olin, who is directing a TV movie for Fox, told reporters assembled for the network’s portion of the annual summer press tour that he has no desire to reprise his role as Michael Steadman in the yuppie drama. Despite its cancellation, the series was nominated last week for eight Emmy Awards, including best drama series.
