MISSION VIEJO : 8 Seats Open on 2 City Committees
City officials are calling for residents to fill eight seats on the newly formed library site and sister city committees.
Three seats are open on the library site committee, which is working with the county and the City Council to find a home for a new library in Mission Viejo.
The city also seeks to find a sister city in a foreign country. Five residents are needed for the sister city committee.
Applicants must file by Aug. 14 at the city clerk’s office in City Hall, 26522 La Alameda. Committee members must be registered voters and residents of Mission Viejo. Further information may be obtained by calling the clerk’s office at (714) 582-2489.
