Ciba-Geigy’s Unusual Price Plan: Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals said it will sell a new drug for high blood pressure to customers at a lifetime fixed price. Ciba-Geigy, based in Summit, N.J., and owned by Ciba-Geigy AG of Switzerland, said it is introducing Lotensin to the United States after marketing the drug in France and Denmark. Ciba-Geigy said it will sell Lotensin to all patients who take the drug during the next year for a lifetime fixed price of $66.81 for a 100-tablet prescription, $42.38 for 60 tablets and $23.29 for 30 tablets.
