Duarte : Mayor, Councilman to Run
Mayor Ginny Joyce and Councilman John R. Fasana announced Tuesday that they will run for reelection Nov. 5.
Would-be candidates, including Joyce and Fasana, have until Aug. 9 to file with the city clerk nominating papers containing at least 20 signatures of registered voters.
Fasana and Joyce, the only two of the five council members up for reelection, have been with the city since November, 1987.
Fasana served as mayor from 1989 to 1990; Joyce succeeded him.
