Dysfunctional ‘Family’: The CBS sitcom “The Family Man,” which was bumped off the network schedule last fall and came back on this summer, is off for good. Low ratings prompted CBS and Lorimar Television to cancel a 13-episode midseason order for “Family Man,” panned by critics as a knockoff of “My Three Sons.” CBS had planned to bring back the series in the fall to establish a relationship with the show’s powerhouse producers, Miller-Boyett Productions (“Full House,” “Family Matters”).
