Landon Memorial: NBC will air a two-hour tribute to Michael Landon early in September, NBC Entertainment President Warren Littlefield announced Monday. “It’s a celebration of Michael’s life and work,” Littlefield said of the project, which is being developed by Michael Landon Jr. The NBC special is scheduled to air a week before CBS’ broadcast of “Us,” the two-hour pilot Landon created and starred in before he died earlier this month of cancer.
