TRY, TRY AGAIN: Anaheim Mayor Fred Hunter says Disney botched the city’s efforts to get federal money to build parking garages for a Disneyland expansion. In a letter to the chairman of the House Public Works and Transportation Committee, Hunter asked that he reconsider the city’s request for $175 million. . . . “The Disney development people in Burbank should have stepped back and allowed the city of Anaheim to be the lead in this,” Hunter said in an interview. . . . Disney sought $395 million. In denying the projects, House officials said they were confused by the competing requests.
