TV Deals: Reba McEntire will host the Country Music Assn. Awards for the second consecutive year, with CBS airing the 25th annual event Oct. 2 from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. . . . Emmy-winning actress Polly Bergen is joining ABC’s “Baby Talk.” She will play the “sophisticated, acerbic” mother of Maggie Campbell (Mary Page Keller), a single mom attempting to bring up her 18-month-old baby. . . . Don Murray has plans to produce a four-hour miniseries, “Paso Robles,” under his Beejay Productions. Murray also will write, direct and star in the show about Drury James, the uncle of Jesse James who incorporated Paso Robles in 1889. . . . Timothy Bottoms will be starring as a father whose family ends up in a prehistoric world in Sid and Marty Krofft’s “Land of the Lost” series for ABC’s Saturday morning lineup.
