FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Weekly Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

1. Various cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Humphrey Avenue to the Los Angeles River; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday; sweeping.

2. Vernon: Southbound on-ramp at Atlantic Boulevard; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; guardrail repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

3. Industry: Connector road from the westbound Pomona Freeway (60) to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 10:30 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday; special permit.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

4. Industry: Connector road from the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60); 10:30 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday; special permit.

5. Santa Fe Springs: Southbound No. 4 lane from Telegraph Road to the Santa Ana Freeway (5) junction, plus the Telegraph Road on-ramp; 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today; road repair.

6. Santa Fe Springs: Southbound off-ramp at Telegraph Road; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

7. Commerce: Northbound off-ramp at Atlantic Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; guardrail repair.

8. Commerce: Southbound No. 4 lane from Atlantic Boulevard to Washington Boulevard, plus the Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp, and Washington Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday; marker repair.

9. Commerce: Southbound off-ramp at Eastern Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; guardrail repair.

10. Downey: Southbound off-ramp at Lakewood Boulevard; 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday; marker repair.

11. Downey: Southbound No. 1 lane from Lakewood Boulevard to the San Gabriel River Freeway (605) junction; 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; marker repair.

12. La Mirada: Northbound No. 4 lane from Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

13. Norwalk: Southbound No. 4 lane from Florence Avenue to Pioneer Boulevard, plus the Orr & Day Road on-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; shoulder repair.
