Dead Eels Foul Shores of Hungarian Resort Lake

Tons of dead eels have washed up on the shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary’s top vacation resort and Central Europe’s largest lake.
Gyula Egerszegi, head of Hungary’s Environmental Inspectorate, told reporter Friday that parasitic infection and not pollution is suspected in the die-off.
