The R&B; vocal group Color Me Badd has the fastest-rising new album on the Billboard chart with “C.M.B,” which jumped from No. 11 to No. 5. Thanks to the single, “I Wanna Sex You Up” from the “New Jack City” soundtrack, C.M.B. has an eager audience. Their latest single, “I Adore Mi Amor,” is zooming up the singles chart (No. 18 now) and may boost the album to the top. Bounding up: Seal’s “Seal” (No. 37) and Lenny Kravitz’s “Mama Said” (No. 40). Bryan Adams’ “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” from the “Robin Hood” soundtrack is still the No. 1 pop single.

*Trisha Yearwood, one of the year’s hottest new country artists, is also making her presence felt with her debut album which jumped nine notches to No. 31. Her single, “She’s in Love With the Boy”--recently No. 1 on the country charts--is pushing the album up the charts.
