New Flavor at the Studio

You’ll find a new menu, new prices, new look, even a new name at the former Studio Cafe in Corona del Mar. After remodeling, this favorite spot for jazz reopened last week as the Studio of Corona del Mar. The menu offers “small plates,” pizzas and dinner entrees (priced from $5.95 to $9.95), complete with Caesar salad or soup. The fare embraces Mexican, Oriental, American and Italian. The decor is Peter Max-inspired, in ocher, purple, magenta and teal, with a new tiled mural on the entry floor. The Studio is open for lunch Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Sunday brunch, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; dinner Sunday through Thursday, 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday till 11 p.m.
