A Newbury Park youth was killed when the car he was driving on a winding road in the Thousand Oaks area hit a dog and then veered into a fence, police said.
Brian T. Kihm, 19, was driving a sports car at an undetermined speed westbound on Potrero Road when he struck a black dog about 4:35 p.m., Wednesday, California Highway Patrol spokesman Jim Utter said.
