Times Mirror Combines Magazine Managements: Times Mirror Magazines said it consolidated the publishing management of its two largest magazines, Outdoor Life and Field & Stream. Outdoor Life Publisher Brendan Banahan was named publisher of both magazines. Field & Stream Publisher Dennis Connaughton was appointed to the newly created position of marketing director for the two magazines as well as for Ski, Skiing and Skiing Trade News. The publications have a combined circulation of 3.5 million. Times Mirror Magazines is a unit of Los Angeles-based Times Mirror Co., a diversified media company that publishes the Los Angeles Times.
