A second suspect in the slaying of an El Cajon market owner was arraigned Friday and ordered held in jail in lieu of $5 million bail.

Tin Trung Ngo, 19, of Westminster was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in the death of Thamir Mikhael, 31, who was shot during robbery Sunday at Deliquery Market, 701 Broadway.

A co-defendant, Hai Van Nguyen, 19, of Garden Grove, also made a court appearance Friday before San Diego Municipal Judge Joan Weber. Nguyen’s attorney argued for lower bail, but Weber denied the request, and his bail is also set at $5 million.
