2nd Russian Revolution

It looks like the Soviet Union is finished as a viable organization. What will the Soviet position in the United Nations become? Will there be new seats for all the “new” sovereign states? What about the Soviet Union’s important Security Council position? President Bush is taking his good time in working on the current situation. I hope these questions are on his agenda.
