2 Edison Managers Fired After Investigation: Southern California Edison Co. fired two mid-level managers in its Long Beach field office after an internal company investigation found that they had each falsified $10,000 to $15,000 in expense accounts over the last two years, a spokeswoman said. The customer service department managers were identified as Floyd Younkin and Gary Morishita, who worked in a group that provides funds to customers for energy efficiency programs. The two could not be reached for comment. Meanwhile, the Public Utilities Commission said it is conducting a preliminary investigation into the alleged misappropriation. Edison spokeswoman Becky Rounds said that no ratepayer funds used for energy conservation programs were involved.
