The nationally distributed “Over 30 Parenting” newsletter takes an exhaustive look at issues facing older parents and prospective parents. The same kinds of issues its creators, Christi Taylor-Jones and Diane Newton, wondered and worried about when they became over-30 mothers. “A lot of people want a support network and information specific to their needs,” Taylor-Jones says.

The bimonthly publication covers topics such as the psychological ups and downs of being an older parent, the medical risks of having a baby later in life, and juggling child-rearing and careers. Ongoing features include legislative updates, book reviews, profiles and support group listings.

Annual subscriptions cost $14; single copies, $2.50.
