FALL ALBUMS : In Brief : * Tommy Page, “From the Heart,” Sire.

Page showed a trace of dance-pop sexiness on his debut album three years ago. Now he’s spooning out trite puppy slop as a new version of the old Donny Osmond or an old, pre-nastiness version of the New Kids. Pseudo-sophisticated ballads herald a would-be kiddie Connick, but first he’d better stop quoting Milli Vanilli.
Four asterisks: excellent; three stars, good; two stars, fair; one star: poor.
