Man Fatally Hurt as Auto Crashes
A 19-year-old man died Monday of injuries suffered when his car skidded off Brea Canyon Road near Brea and crashed into a concrete obstacle, the California Highway Patrol said.
The Diamond Bar man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was driving south at 2:10 p.m. when he lost control of his car, CHP dispatcher Tom O’Donnell said.
The car veered off the roadway into a ditch and continued to skid until it smashed into a concrete block structure, O’Donnell said.
