Suicide Attempt: The widow of the late CBS newsman Harry Reasoner was hospitalized Wednesday in Norwalk, Conn., after an apparent suicide attempt. Lois Reasoner, 47, was found lying in the yard of her home in Westport after jumping from a third-story window, police said. Mrs. Reasoner was a health insurance executive before marrying the newsman in 1988 in his hometown of Humboldt, Iowa. Reasoner died Aug. 6 at age 68 of heart failure after surgery for a blood clot in his brain two months earlier.
