NEWPORT BEACH : Document on Goals of District Studied

Trustees of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District will hold a long-planned discussion today of the district’s Statement of Educational Principles.
Though the broad-reaching statement, which has not been revised in nearly a decade, does not deal with specific plans or issues, it serves as a guide to the district’s future course, said school board President Sherry Loofbourrow.
