Pete Peeters, a four-time All-Star goaltender, was released by the Philadelphia Flyers. The goalie-rich Flyers, who still have veterans Ron Hextall and Ken Wregget in addition to prospect Dominic Roussel, will buy out the remaining year of Peeters’ contract.
