Think condo prices in L.A. are inflated? Check out the price tags at your local cemetery. Twenty years ago, a person could obtain a decent resting place for just a few hundred dollars. Nowadays, eternal peace can run anywhere from $1,200 to $10,000. What square footage your dollar will buy depends on accessibility, opening and closing fees, grave type (underground or vault), maintenance and, of course, zip code.
