Glendale : Relief Aid for Yugoslavia
The Glendale-Crescenta Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking donations to buy food and supplies for families facing deprivation from the civil war in Yugoslavia.
Parcels containing food, detergent, cooking oil, paper and pencils and other goods--each enough for a family of five for one month--will be provided in all the Yugoslav republics, including Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia.
The parcels cost $26 each. Donations should be sent to “Yugoslav Conflict Relief,” American Red Cross, Glendale-Crescenta Chapter, 1501 S. Brand Blvd., Glendale, 91204.
