Former Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce President David Russell Miller has been indicted in Sanford, Fla., on first-degree murder charges in the Sept. 15 shooting death of one of his two wives.
Miller was indicted by a Seminole County grand jury Wednesday in the death of Jayne Miller, 33. The woman, who married David Miller in February, was shot seven times after an argument with him outside a Sanford storage business, police said. The argument began when she confronted her husband after learning that he was married to another woman, police said.
David Miller, 41, was being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 14. If convicted, he could receive life in prison or the death penalty.
