Former San Francisco 49er Eason Ramson, sentenced to six years in prison for a string of drug-motivated robberies, says he began using cocaine after entering the NFL, according to documents filed in Sacramento County Superior Court.
The sentence was suspended to allow Ramson, 35, to apply for a drug rehabilitation center. If he is not accepted, he will have to serve his sentence in state prison.
