Terminal Data Expects 4th-Quarter Improvement

Share

Terminal Data Corp., a Moorpark company that makes document imaging devices, said it expects to report improved results for its fiscal fourth quarter ended Sept. 30, although the company declined to say whether it would be profitable.

In the fiscal third quarter ended June 30, Terminal Data lost $916,000 on a 17% decline in revenues to $4.9 million. It blamed the loss on delays in procurement on a defense project and the sluggish economy.

But the company said the fourth quarter showed improvement because of increased sales of such products as check processing microfilmers and electronic document scanners.
