With the holiday season approaching, those who need to book a flight home or arrange for a loved one’s visit here should move fast. Airlines are recommending that people book their holiday air travel by mid-October to be assured they get their flights when they want them.

Eight airlines fly to and from John Wayne Airport, with nonstop flights available to 15 cities in the United States.
