Turner caught seven passes for 112 yards, marking the eighth consecutive game in which he has gained over 100 yards on pass receptions. He’s one game shy of the NCAA record set last year by Patrick Rowe of San Diego State.

Ryan Benjamin rushed for 101 yards in 13 carries for Pacific (2-4), the sixth consecutive game he has gained more than 100 yards.

San Luis Obispo (2-3) was held to 15 net yards rushing.

San Jose State 39, New Mexico State 13--Senior tailback Maceo Barbosa gained 118 yards in 22 carries to lead the Spartans in a Big West game at Las Cruces, N.M.

San Jose State (3-2, 3-0) got off to a quick start with the help of two first-quarter turnovers by New Mexico State (0-5, 0-1) that led to field goals of 21 and 43 yards by freshman Joe Nedney.
