San Diego
The body of an unidentified man was found floating in Mission Bay by a passer-by who waded out to pull it ashore, authorities reported.
It was the second body found in the bay in five days. The victim found Sunday was described only as a local vagrant, about 40 years old, who was fully clothed.
A spokesman for the San Diego Police Department said the body, found floating Sunday morning about 30 feet off of Santa Clara Point, showed no apparent signs of trauma.
On Tuesday, the body of another unidentified man was found floating beneath the Ingraham Street bridge on Mission Bay.
