Two San Fernando Valley hikers stranded over the weekend in Los Padres National Forest south of Pyramid Lake were found Monday morning, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.

Carroll Harshman, 32, of Panorama City and Theresa Dominguez, 22, of Canoga Park were found in good condition in the Piru Creek area, Sgt. Sonnen Blick said. The two became stranded after Dominguez twisted her ankle and was unable to complete the hike, Blick said.

Harshman and Dominguez set out Saturday morning to hike 10 miles from Frenchman’s Flat in Los Angeles County to Blue Point campgrounds in Ventura County, Blick said. They were reported missing Sunday night after failing to show up at a pickup spot.
