PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Offensive Line Still Is Short-Handed

Share

The Rams decided that Robert Jenkins’ dislocated toe was still too sore for him to be activated off the injured-reserve list. So they activated linebacker Terry Crews from the practice squad Friday.

The roster spot was made available because guard Joe Milinichik had to be put on injured reserve after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder.

By not activating Jenkins, the Rams are going into Sunday’s Raider game with only six sound offensive linemen. Rookie Jeff Pahukoa and guard Bern Brostek are the available backups. Brostek still is recovering from a sore right ankle.

Tackle Gerald Perry was not at practice Friday because of a personal matter, Coach John Robinson said, and tailback Robert Delpino sat out because of flu. . . . No. 1 pick Todd Lyght, recovering from an injured right ankle, practiced and Robinson said Lyght will probably suit up Sunday.
