Canoga Park 34, North Hollywood 0--Halfback Roland Mitchell scored first-quarter touchdowns of one and 47 yards, and William Fort scored on a 25-yard run in the second period to lead the Hunters (1-4, 1-2) to their first win of the season, beating hapless North Hollywood (0-6, 0-3).

Mitchell finished with 59 yards in 10 carries, and Fort added 66 yards in seven rushes. Hunter quarterback Adam Ferris completed five of 13 passes for 76 yards with one interception.

Canoga Park limited the Huskies to two yards in total offense and minus-29 in the second half.
