To solicit comment about water concerns from residents throughout the San Gabriel Basin, the board of the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District has scheduled a community meeting on Wednesday in Temple City.
“We’re seeking a consensus on what consumers in the Upper San Gabriel Valley service area want,” said board president Anthony R. Fellow.
The water district, a member agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, is responsible for arranging for the supply of imported water to much of the San Gabriel Valley. The agenda for the meeting will include presentations on the use of reclaimed water and on a reforestation project in the San Gabriel Mountains.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Temple City Council Chambers, 5938 Kauffman Ave.
