THOUSAND OAKS : Teachers Back 2 for School Board
- Share via
The teachers union in the Conejo Valley Unified School District has endorsed the two incumbents among five candidates running for the school board in the Nov. 5 election.
A group of teachers from the Unified Assn. of Conejo Teachers interviewed each of the candidates and then endorsed incumbents Dorothy Beaubien and Dolores Didio.
The union, a branch of the California Teachers Assn., plans to urge its members to vote for the incumbents, President Jerry Morris said. In addition, postcards will be mailed to about 600 California Teachers Assn. members who live in the Thousand Oaks area but work in other school districts, asking them to vote for the two incumbents, union officials said.
