Mystery Oil Spill Fouls Shore of Lake Huron

MACKINAW CITY, Mich. —
Using rags and plastic bags, workers Monday continued to wipe down almost three miles of Lake Huron beach soiled by oil.
Thick, black gobs of heavy fuel oil washed up Thursday on the shore south of Mackinaw City, but the source remained a mystery.
