Villas for Sale: The villa where Italian composer Giacomo Puccini is buried and the one where he wrote his last opera are to be sold to raise cash, despite music lovers’ attempts to block the sale. A Milan court gave the go-ahead Thursday for the sale of Puccini’s neo-Gothic villa at the Mediterranean seaside resort of Viareggio and the nearby museum at Torre del Lago where the composer was buried in 1924.
