Curtis Joseph stopped 29 shots as the St. Louis Blues extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a 1-1 tie against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night.

The Maple Leafs dominated the Blues for the opening 40 minutes, especially in the second period, when they held a 12-3 shots advantage. But Joseph was a game-saver for the Blues.

Brian Bradley was the only Maple Leaf to put the puck past Joseph, who couldn’t be faulted on the play.

Mike Foligno centered the puck and Bradley took a swipe at it. The puck went end over end and changed direction when it hit a St. Louis stick. Joseph was moving to his left when the puck bounced off his blocker into the right corner at 3:07.

Gino Cavallini tied the score at 9:28.
