Other baseball moves:
--Baltimore Oriole first baseman Glenn Davis filed for free agency, although he has expressed a desire to return to Baltimore.
--The Toronto Blue Jays offered salary arbitration to outfielder Candy Maldonado, preventing him from filing for free agency.
--Alejandro Pena, the relief pitcher who played a key role in Atlanta’s stretch drive to the National League pennant, filed for free agency but said there was a chance he would re-sign with the Braves. Pena, 32, had a 1.40 ERA with the Braves.
