Ballot Measure on Irvine Co.’s Village 38 Project Finds a City Divided
This morning, I jogged in Irvine and made Woodbridge Village Center my halfway stop. As I rounded the corner, I saw a new addition in the “quad”--the huge, painted sculpture of a pair of shiny, 5-foot-long, black and orange frogs hungrily eyeing a harmless 2-foot-long, tan cricket. Poor cricket!
We thank the Irvine Co. for its (probably subconscious) construction of a public reminder of the Irvine Co.’s corporate mentality.
