Short Takes: Don Johnson says in Woman’s Day magazine that movie love scenes don’t cause trouble between real-life actor-actress spouses. Still, he has banned his wife, Melanie Griffith, from co-starring with one particular actor. “Melanie has this major crush on Sean Connery so I’ve forbidden her to work with him,” Johnson says. “Of course, she just laughs at me.” . . . Frank Sinatra has been re-elected as executive director of the Friars Club, the 87-year-old New York theatrical organization known for its celebrity roasts.
