The USC women’s volleyball team will try for the second time this season to end its six-year losing streak against UCLA tonight in a 7:30 match at USC’s Lyon Center. The Trojans haven’t defeated the Bruins since 1985 but have perhaps their best chance yet, taking a No. 12 national ranking onto the court against a struggling No. 4 Bruin team. UCLA (18-4) is barely ahead of USC in the Pacific 10 Conference standings at 10-1. USC is 17-3 and 9-2.
