‘Kane’ Script for Sale: Orson Welles’ personal script from “Citizen Kane,” autographed by him, will be part of an auction of entertainment memorabilia at Christie’s on Dec. 16. The script was consigned by his daughter, Beatrice Welles-Smith, who said it was discovered “at the bottom of Daddy’s trunk. . . . It has no cover as he peculiarly ripped them off and it is only lightly marked, as he never really marked his scripts.” It is estimated to bring $15,000 to $20,000. “Thing’s Box” from “The Addams Family” television series is expected to go for $3,000 to $5,000, while designer Adrian’s test hat for the Witch in “The Wizard of Oz” is estimated at $15,000 to $20,000.
