TUSTIN : City Takes Aim at Graffiti Problem

Share

The City Council this week unanimously introduced a new graffiti removal program.

The program, which will be up for final approval at the council’s next meeting, is part of the city’s comprehensive approach to improving property maintenance, particularly in the southwest area.

The ordinance would prohibit the sale of spray paint to minors, possession of spray paint on public streets by minors, and defacing public or private property.

Rewards will be offered to people who contribute to the apprehending of graffiti offenders.
