MODERNIZING SCHOOL: Paramount Unified School District trustees will consider approving a $558,750 bid to modernize Keppel Elementary School at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 15110 California Ave. in Paramount.
EXPANSION: A hearing is set Wednesday to allow the public to give ideas on how district boundary lines should be drawn if the Board of Supervisors is expanded to seven or nine members. The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in Room 739 of the Hall of Administration, 500 W. Temple Ave., Los Angeles.
BOOK SALE: A used book sale will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon, in the Los Angeles Public Library’s Central Library, sixth floor auditorium, 433 S. Spring St. For information, call (213) 612-3200.
