Teen Girl Wounded in Drive-By Shooting
A 15-year-old girl was wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday night as she stood at the Beyer Boulevard trolley station in San Ysidro.
San Diego police said the girl, who was not identified because of her age, was shot in the thigh. She was taken to Scripps Hospital in Chula Vista, where she was reported in satisfactory condition on Saturday.
The police department’s gang detail is investigating the shooting.
