Fresh Produce With That Down-Home Feel

Share

Iwant my produce gorgeous and that means fresh. When I buy it at the Farmer Direct Markets I know it was probably picked that day. At these movable markets, you buy directly from the California farmer, usually right off their trucks. In fact, the person handling your purchase is usually the one who grew it. Most of the farms are family owned and operated. By eliminating the middleman, both buyer and seller profit, and the consumer is able to realize an average savings of 20% to 30% off supermarket prices.

Expect vegetables, fruit, eggs, fish, nuts, honey and fresh-cut flowers at the peak of their season. Rain or shine, the markets are open year-round. Enjoy a shopping excursion like no other; it’s friendly, relaxed with that down-home atmosphere.
